Project Fundamentals is an entry level program to expose newbies to projects. This self-paced eLearning program will provide you with a framework for developing key competencies in project fundamentals. If you have little or no project experience and you will be exposed to small projects within your organisation, then Project Fundamentals is the course for you.
At the end of this program participants will have the foundational knowledge and tools to run a workplace project.
Leading with Emotional Intelligence

Time Management

Duration: 40 minutes
Do you ever wish you had more hours in the day? While we can’t manufacture time, we can take control over how we spend it. In this course, you’ll first learn what effective time management is and how it helps you juggle competing responsibilities and interests. Then, you’ll learn how to track, analyse, prioritise, and schedule your time so that you can maximise each day.
Change Management

Duration: 45 minutes
Change initiatives may be necessary, but they’re not easy. Thankfully, understanding how best to manage change can help navigate the challenges. In this course, you’ll learn to do that by mastering the basics of change management. First, we’ll define change management, examine the types of organisational change, and uncover best practices for change management. Then, we’ll explore change management models, concentrating on how to overcome common barriers to change.
Basics of Managing Stress

Duration: 45 minutes
Do you often feel overwhelmed and exhausted? We all deal with stressful situations at times, but chronic stress is damaging. Keeping stress under control helps maintain your energy, motivation, and health. In this course, you’ll learn the basics of managing stress. First, you’ll discover what stress is and how your body responds to it. Then, you’ll learn common stress triggers and how to manage them.
Problem Solving Fundamentals

Duration: 1 hour
Have you ever known someone who always has a solution for any problem? No matter what happens, they handle it with ease. While it might come naturally to some, the truth is that anyone can develop strong problem-solving skills. In this course, you’ll start with a five-step problem-solving process anyone can use. Then, you’ll learn some strategies and behaviours to make problem-solving easier. Finally, you’ll get tips for rising above challenges and barriers that will inevitably come your way.
Advanced Problem Solving

Being an effective problem-solver is a useful skill in any line of work. Whether it’s a small issue or a complex dilemma, understanding how to solve problems efficiently and effectively gives you an advantage in work and life. But how do you become a great problem-solver?
Mentoring Basics

Duration: 35 minutes
This module contains an overview of what mentoring is all about and the roles of different individuals in the relationship. It provides a self-assessment checklist to reflect on skills that are essential to being an effective mentor.
Mentoring the Generations

Duration: 30 minutes
This course will provide you with the fundamentals of understanding the different generations to ensure a suitable approach is taken to the mentoring relationship.
Becoming a Mentee

Duration: 25 minutes
This course will provide you with the fundamentals behind the important role of being a good mentee and how to get the best out of the mentoring experience. It explores the importance of identifying and setting goals, what happens during the mentoring relationship, the role effective communication plays and how to ensure you stay on track. It concludes with an Action Plan to get you started with your mentor.
